Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC)
The Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC) will be awarding $1,000 individual scholarships. FECU members who plan on starting post-secondary education or high school seniors are eligible* to apply for a scholarship.
Scholarship applicants must be one of the following students:
- Traditional: current high school student or PSEO student graduating in 2027
- Non-traditional: post high school student, current college student or those returning to post-secondary after some time off.
Scholarship Application – All applications must be submitted online.
*The FECU is an affiliated member of a Minnesota Credit Union Network. Applicants must be a credit union member in good standing as determined by the FECU. The student must have a separate credit union account from their parents/guardian. More information and a link to the online application are now available on the FSC website.
Note: The Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC) is a sub-committee of the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation. The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Contact the FSC scholarship program with questions at scholarships@mncufoundation.org. The FSC annual scholarship program is made possible through its annual silent auction and Dice & Ice event. If selected as a recipient for a scholarship students will be required to submit required documentation before the deadline. Once received, a check will be made payable to you and the school to the address you provided. Checks will be mailed after the deadline. If the required documentation is not received by the deadline, the scholarship award will be forfeited.
Scholarships are operated and awarded by The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation a third party wholly independent from Federated Employees Credit Union. Financial need is not considered in the selection of the scholarship recipients. Immediate family and household members of the Minnesota Foundation Scholarship Council are not eligible to enter. Applicants will be asked to approve that their names, words and/or photos can be used in various media to promote the credit union scholarship program. These services and incentives are provided through external third parties, entirely independent from FECU.
