When is the bill pay platform changing?
Members will have access to our new bill pay platform automatically on February 11, 2026. Prior to the upgrade members should download or print out current payment history and review payment information. This can be used for setting up new transactions for your payees using the newly upgraded account.
Why is this upgrade happening?
We’re upgrading to make managing your bills easier and more convenient! This new platform is designed to give you more control, with features like a streamlined interface, mobile-friendly access, and tools to help you effortlessly organize and schedule payments. Plus, the platform is mobile-friendly, so you can manage your bills on any device, anytime.
What is Online Bill Pay?
Online Bill Pay is a service that allows you to pay a person or any company through your online banking account. You determine who you want to pay, when you want to make the payment, and which account you want the payment to come from. Your personal information is protected no matter what device you’re on so it's safe, secure and easy to use.
Who can I pay with Online Bill Pay?
Members can pay virtually any business or individual with a mailing address within the United States and Puerto Rico. For example, you can pay utilities, cable bills or credit cards, or individuals such as a landlord, babysitter or relative. Prohibited payments that cannot be processed through this service include court ordered payments, payees outside of the United States, tax payments, and other government fees. Please contact us or call the Federated Employees Credit Union at 507-455-5430 if you have questions or would like assistance with these types of payments.
How are payments delivered?
Payments are sent electronically or by paper checks. The majority of payments are delivered electronically. This will be clearly listed in your payment history so you can see if they’re paid by check or electronically. All payments made by paper checks that are mailed via the U.S. Postal Service and electronic payments are sent via secure and encrypted transmission.
