There are several things you can do to keep your debit and credit cards safe. Adopt smart habits by using trusted websites for online purchases, avoiding unknown requests for payments, and only using ATMs at secure locations in well-lit areas. Another tip is using the great tools and features FECU has available to help you monitor your accounts. Regularly check your account activity for any unauthorized transactions and enable notifications so you can quickly identify unauthorized transactions. Contact us immediately if you notice anything suspicious.

Update Contact Information

Make certain the phone number and contact information you have on file with FECU is current so you can be easily contacted if any questionable activity is detected on your account. Always keep your debit and credit cards safe and never share your information with others. FECU will never ask you for personal or account information when we contact you. We will only ask you to verify transactions.

Travel Notices

Ensure uninterrupted service by keeping FECU updated with your travel plans before you leave. Send your travel information using the Contact Us link on our webpage or by calling 507-455-5430 Monday - Friday between 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM CT.

Report as Lost/Stolen

If your card is lost or stolen, report it immediately to your bank or credit card company to prevent any fraudulent charges.

Freeze your FECU Debit Card in Online Banking

Log in to your online banking to change a card's status between Active and Frozen. Once it is frozen cards will not approve new incoming transaction requests.  Pre-authorized transactions and recurring bills may still complete.
