Text Banking

Members can access account information and make transfers without needing to log into Online Banking or use the Mobile App. Text Banking is a safe and secure way to make transfers and request banking information by sending and receiving text messages. This service is available to all of our members who Enroll in Online Banking and register a mobile phone number. 

The FECU Text Banking phone number is 888-380-0814.

Registering Phone Numbers

Text Banking requires a registered phone number and Mobile Alerts opt-in to enable the messaging services. 

  1. Log into Online Banking
  2. Under “General” select “Preferences” from the drop-down.
  3. Select “Registered Mobile Alert Number” from the menu. 
  4. Enter your phone number using the required format. 
  5. Change the “Text Receiving Timespan” by using the drop-down. 
  6. Click “Update Mobile” to finalize.
  7. After registering, use your mobile device to add the FECU Text Banking phone number 888-380-0814 to your phone contacts.
  8. Text the word “START” to begin receiving messages from FECU Text Banking.
  9. Text the word “ACCT” for a list of account names formatted to use in FECU Text Banking messages.  

Using FECU Text Banking

Save the list of text banking codes to your phone. Begin using FECU Text Banking by sending the command code as a text message to 888-380-0814 and receive a text message reply instantly.
